Recommended gear

Below is a grid of brand recommended gear manufacturers and vendors that the Indiana Yellow Jackets have used, or are currently using. These manufacturers and vendors are reviewed once a month, mostly from people in the field that are utilizing gear, or from our own experience. We use a 3-tier trial to rate various products from a manufacturer, or service from a vendor, called 3S (for Safety, Style, Shot-ability). We rate how safe the product is to handle, or how safe the vendor is in doing business to come up with our first S score. Secondly, we look at the style of manufacturing (like, does it not only look good, but feel comfortable, when used? Or is it too unwieldy, bulky, or does the vendor not promote good customer report?) and that goes to our second S score. Our final S score goes to the products' (either) ability to fire as it should, with minimal to no issue, or with armors, does it protect the way that it should, with adequate diffusion of force, diffusion of spalling/fragmentation protection, and overall integrity and durability.
